Vivid waterbodies for vivid cities

The interdisciplinary research network connects local, national and international stakeholder, active in the field of restoration ecology, biodiversity and recreation research in aquatic urban environments.
To do so, we develop an information platform to bring knowledge and experience in restoration and recreation ecology together, organise information events, create material and also encourage new research questions to restore urban waters.

"Area-saving settlement development - between desire and reality"

Desire or already reality? - What about the area-conserving settlement development in Germany? The IÖR Annual Meeting will answer that question and present current research results as well as practical examples. The panel discussion in the afternoon will take a look into the future.

The IÖR Annual Meeting provides a platform for discussing current challenges of ecological spatial development and asks for solutions and research needs. The event addresses itself to participants from politics, society and science.
