The remodeling of the Mill River Park included the following activities:
- Removal of the shore protection
- Creation of paths, seatings and viewpoints along the river
- Dismantling of a dam
- Creation of floodplains
- Stabilisation of the banks with plants
- Installation of huge stones to steer the flow (natural meandering in urban setting not wanted)
- Development of shallow waterfront areas for better accessibility
