Unser Neckar

The restoration of the covered estuary of the river Zaber increased the attractivity of the city of Lauffen am Neckar.

The previously steep banks were flattened and the area of the estuary was visible and also accessible through a new ford through the Zaber. Also a part of the cycling path along the Zaber was redesigned.

The ecological situation has been improved by removing the bedrock, creating shallow water zones and adding huge stones.
