Sulz

Besides the ecological enhancement of the Sulz the most important goal of the restoration was the creation of an attractive recreational area for the city of Beilngries.

The activities included:

• Lifting the stream bed and dismantling of the natural stone walls
• Natural design of shore and stream bed
• Technical sealing of the stream bed in the city center
• Creation of connected wetlands
• Construction of a bypass creek
• Construction of flood line at the ship lock Dietfurt
