The restoration of river Berkel in Coesfeld included the following activities:
- Remodeling of a shallow shore for better accessibility
- Installation of a new seating along the shore
- Installation of a new staircase that also serves as platform for a temporary stage
- Installation of a water playground
- Creation of a ford for crossing the river
- Creation of new paths that lead barrier-free through the park to the areas in the southern and northern part. Both parts are connected via the newly designed bridges.
